After an initial class brainstorm about weather, students move on to weather observations, encouraging students to use all their senses. Using a weather calendar, students record daily weather data. With the help of various tools, they make their own weather observations and compare them to official forecasts. They create puddles and investigate what happens to them. They also investigate the water repellency of various fabrics. Their thinking skills are developed as they determine how to use all the information they have collected.
