Balls and Ramps

Learning Experience 13: Ramps and Different-Sizes Balls
Number of Sessions: 1

Lesson Summary

Using two balls of different sizes children focus on the effect that size has on how quickly a ball reaches the bottom of a ramp and far it goes after it leaves the ramp.  They observe, measure, and record their results.

Focus student learning on the effect the size of a ball has when it moves down the ramp.
