Students learn about the history of time keeping by studying the movement of the sun and moon and the connection to early time-keeping methods. Students have the opportunity to design experiments; problems solve, and learn trouble-shooting techniques in the context of learning about science and technology. Machines, motion, and astronomy are linked in this unit. |
