Printing Technician (Digital Printing Operator) - Job ID 12535

Cedar Rapids Center/Graphics Printing

Be part of a dynamic team supporting a staff who is dedicated to the success of all learners. Full-time position at our Cedar Rapids Center producing high quality digital print products utilizing cut-sheet high –speed digital production printers and various finishing equipment. This position will also work with staff to create custom materials that are used by students in the classroom. Not all work is automated, some handwork is involved The Lead Printer will work with the Graphic Designers, Operations Associate and Creative Services Supervisor to prioritize work requests and ensure that projects are completed on time. The Lead Printer will also be responsible for coordinating shipping of print projects utilizing our Agency van deliver, UPS and USPS. Requires high school graduate or equivalent; one year of printing experience; demonstrated computer skills.  Experience with Xerox equipment and FreeFlow a plus.  Starting pay range: $12.23- $13.31 per hour with excellent benefits.  EOE/AA

TEMPORARY

Clerk - VAST Science Center

Temporary, seasonal position for summer and critical times throughout school year. Will work with packaging and assembly of science kits in the VAST science center.  Limited to 500 work hours per year.  Work hours primarily projected for Nov 1-Dec 15, Feb 20-Apr 1 and May 1-Aug 30. Requires high school diploma. Rate of pay: $8.50 per hour.



   

SUBSTITUTE

 

Substitute Paraeducators (Job ID 1321) for off-site classrooms in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. You would work as a member of a teacher/paraeducator team with great support from colleagues. Hours are generally from 8:00 – 3:30 and the rate of pay is $12.58 per hour.  Requires 2 years of post high school training in a social science or education related field and experience in a classroom setting. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications of the job and satisfactory background check, will be entered into the Substitute Employment Management Systems (SEMS). You will be contacted by SEMS for sub para work the morning the work is available.
