Cedar Rapids Center/Technology

Full-time position. Provides direct technical support and assistance to AEA clients and staff with software, hardware and equipment. Requires two year computer technician degree or high school diploma and two years of experience in computer technology support, experience with multiple computer platforms, current valid driver’s license, and ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. A+ certification within one year of employment.

TEMPORARY

 

Clerk/VAST Center

Temporary position to work 4 – 6 weeks starting February 23, 2016.  Will work with packaging and assembling of science kits in the VAST Center.  Requires high school diploma.

 

   

SUBSTITUTE

 

Substitute Paraeducators (Job ID 1321) for off-site classrooms in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. You would work as a member of a teacher/paraeducator team with great support from colleagues. Hours are generally from 8:00 – 3:30 and the rate of pay is $13.13 per hour.  Requires 2 years of post high school training in a social science or education related field and experience in a classroom setting. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications of the job and satisfactory background check, will be entered into the Substitute Employment Management Systems (SEMS). You will be contacted by SEMS for sub para work the morning the work is available.
