Statewide Job Opportunities  

PS101421 – Coordinator of C4K Training Cadre: One full time or up to two part-time positions available immediately. The Coordinator of C4K Training Cadre will provide support to the statewide training cadre for Collaborating for Iowa Kids. The position may be located anywhere in the state, and will be responsible for providing support to the statewide training cadre for Collaborating for Iowa Kids. Primary responsibilities include working with the C4K co-leads in designing and developing materials, delivering professional learning, coordinating the work of the C4K consultant(s) and communicating to the cadre. Candidates must have three or more years of leadership experience in a school district or AEA. Candidates must have post-master’s level of professional training in public school administration and must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. The position may be located anywhere in the state, and will provide content expertise in the implementation of MTSS, literacy instruction and coaching, working with a team to develop and re-package C4K materials and provide professional development to the Cadre. Candidates must have five or more years of experience in a school district, as well as a master’s level of professional training in the field of education. Must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, and should have evidence of experience with a diverse workforce. SUBSTITUTE

 

Substitute Paraeducators (Job ID 1321) for off-site classrooms in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. You would work as a member of a teacher/paraeducator team with great support from colleagues. Hours are generally from 8:00 – 3:30 and the rate of pay is $12.58 per hour.  Requires 2 years of post high school training in a social science or education related field and experience in a classroom setting. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications of the job and satisfactory background check, will be entered into the Substitute Employment Management Systems (SEMS). You will be contacted by SEMS for sub para work the morning the work is available.
