Paraeducator/Autism

Cedar Rapids or Coralville Center

Full-time, 40 hours/week year round position. Will work with young children (birth to age 3) who may be on the autism spectrum, using various research-supported strategies. Highly individualized services are provided in home, preschool and/or day care settings. Travel to be in the Grant Wood seven county area with mileage reimbursement. Requires two years post-high school training in a social science or education related field and work experience in a classroom setting. Starting rate of pay:$12.83 - $13.91 per hour.

SUBSTITUTE

 

Substitute Paraeducators for off-site classrooms in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. You would work as a member of a teacher/paraeducator team with great support from colleagues. Hours are generally from 8:00 – 3:30 and the rate of pay is $12.58 per hour.  Requires 2 years of post high school training in a social science or education related field and experience in a classroom setting. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications of the job and satisfactory background check, will be entered into the Substitute Employment Management Systems (SEMS). You will be contacted by SEMS for sub para work the morning the work is available.
