Clerk - VAST Science Center - Job ID 9630

Temporary (seasonal) employees to support work in the VAST Science Materials Center.  The work will involve packaging & assembly operations which resupply science units used in local school districts.  The selected candidates will be limited to 500 hours of employment per fiscal year at a rate of pay of $8.50 per hour.  Seasonal employment periods may include November 1 to December 15; February 20 to April 1; and May 1 to August 30.  



   

SUBSTITUTE

 

Substitute Paraeducators for off-site classrooms in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. You would work as a member of a teacher/paraeducator team with great support from colleagues. Hours are generally from 8:00 – 3:30 and the rate of pay is $12.58 per hour.  Requires 2 years of post high school training in a social science or education related field and experience in a classroom setting. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications of the job and satisfactory background check, will be entered into the Substitute Employment Management Systems (SEMS). You will be contacted by SEMS for sub para work the morning the work is available.
