Job Summary:
Prepares machine readable forms of submitted data and interacts with the users to insure quality services.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Six months of experience in key entry operations.
Essential Functions:
- Operates key entry equipment.
- Sets up key entry machines for operation.
- Logs in data entry jobs and prioritizes jobs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains proper and adequate records and documentation in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Performs related clerical duties.
- Participates in projects, committees or activities to support the mission of the program, unit and Agency.
- Participates in staff development and professional growth activities.
- Performs other such duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard at a minimum of 50 wpm.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and apply appropriate mathematical concepts.
- Ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports and correspondence, and apply appropriate mathematical concepts.
Physical Requirements:
- Normal, routine levels of bending, lifting, carrying, climbing, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to be able to operate office equipment needed to complete responsibilities including, but not limited to, computers, fax machines, copy machines, telephones.
