Job Summary:
Partners with educators, families and communities to provide effective learning environments for all students. Helps ensure success for all learners. Implements the three-year grant for the E2T2 consortium of AEAs 2, 6, 7, 10, and the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Waterloo school districts and serves as internal evaluator. This coordination includes the development of the budget, fiscal management, on-site support in the AEAs, project implementation and evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in education or related area.
- Five year's experience in an educational setting.
- Experience with multi-agency collaborations.
Essential Functions:
- Supports total school/community efforts to create a positive learning environment for students/children.
- Collaborates with various teams to assure positive outcomes for all learners.
- Models, implements and assesses strategies related to learning, social, emotional and behavioral needs to enhance educational programming for all learners.
- Provides ongoing support to educational staff related to applicable rules and laws.
- Integrates research into the design of best practices.
- Consults with teachers and administrators regarding best practices for classroom and building educational programs.
- Provides for overall coordination of the E2T2 Consortium.
- Oversees the internal evaluation of the grant.
- Develops a multi-AEA plan for programming that meets the requirements of the grant.
- Plans, organizes, and develops the program budget in conjunction with the advisory committee.
- Provides consultation to consortium members and the LEAs related to grant components including content and assessment characteristics.
- Serves as a liaison between the consortium and the Department of Education in conjunction with grant activities.
- Participates as an ad hoc member of the advisory committee and communicates pertinent developments.

- Participates in projects, committees or activities to support the mission of the program, region and Agency.
- Pursues professional growth opportunities and relationships to keep current with and influence educational directions.
- Develops and maintains proper and adequate records and documentation in accordance with federal and state rules and regulations and Agency policies and procedures.
- Develops and recommends procedures related to the grant activities.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

- Ability to use and integrate technology appropriately in daily work which includes, but is not limited to, efficient operation of telephone and voice mail systems and application of basic computer skills to effectively use e-mail, internet and word processing.
- Effective in solving problems and managing a budget.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel between schools/sites served.
- Normal, routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, hearing, lifting, reaching, sitting, standing, vision and walking, and may also involve above-average levels of activity at times that can’t always be anticipated.
