Analyzing Student Work
This two-day workshop provides essential tools and processes for collaboratively analyzing student work, identifying student learning needs, and differentiating instructional next steps to meet identified needs. Participants will learn how to prepare new teachers for the Analyzing Student Work (ASW) process and develop their habits of mind and practice for differentiating instruction.

Improving Student Achievement through Teacher Observation and Feedback
This workshop focuses upon research-based best teaching practices. Participants review research, observe video lessons, and use a variety of observation tools to analyze teaching practices that produce results. Participants apply new concepts and tools to the supervision process and practice coaching and feedback skills tied to the Iowa Teaching Standards. This workshop helps differentiate the roles of the administrator in the evaluation process and the development of the beginning teacher through coaching and supervision.
