Grant Wood AEA and Graceland University to sponsor Action Research Symposium

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cedar Rapids...Grant Wood AEA and Graceland University will jointly sponsor an Action Research Symposium on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Grant Wood AEA, 4401 6^th St S.W. in Cedar Rapids.

The symposium begins with poster sessions from 1:00-2:30 p.m., followed by presentations from 2:30-4:00 p.m.

The symposium, which is open to all educators and the general public, will feature the results of 65 action research studies conducted in classrooms by local teachers who are Graceland graduate students.

Presenters are elementary and secondary classroom teachers from the Anamosa, Benton, Cedar Rapids, Cedar Valley Christian, Center Point-Urbana, Clear Creek Amana, College Community,  Iowa City, Linn-Mar, Lisbon, Marion, Mid-Prairie, Mount Vernon, Solon, and Washington schools
