4. their attitudes towards technology

5. their opinions of the current technology support system within the district

C. Do an assessment of your students to find out the following:

1. their level of technology understanding

2. how they already are using technology in their classes

3. ideas they have about how technology should be used in their schools

4. their attitudes towards technology

5. their opinions of the current technology support system within the district

D. Gather information on the current performance of students. This could be important in determining the success of your technology plan, and how technology integration has affected student achievement

1. traditional academic performance measures

2. thinking skills

3. attitudes and values

E. Gather information about the current trends that will affect the district and community in the future

1. demographic changes taking place within the community and surrounding area

2. changes taking place within the workplace

3. the increasing infusion of technology into the home

4. the increasing global perspective of our society

F. Gather information about the current trends that will affect the district and community in the future
