E. Building goals

G. Community-related goals

Sample Goals

  • Technology will be used to facilitate integration into the community and increase interaction with others.
  • Increase available digital resources.
  • Specialized technologies will be provided for instructional purposes in each high school science classroom.
  • The electrical infrastructure of the district will be updated to serve today's technology demands.

Sample Actions

  • A minimum of four computers will be located in each classroom. These computers will be networked with Internet access and access to at least one laser printer and one color printer.
  • Each middle school classroom will be provided with multimedia equipment including a multimedia projector, a scanner, and a digital camera. This will allow teachers to provide large group demonstrations and instruction using computers and other technology.
  • Portable technology stations will be provided for each elementary grade level as well as the Extended Learning Room.
