EBSCO Mobile Interface

Schools in the Grant Wood service area now have access to EBSCOhost through their iPhone or iPod.
Follow the instructions listed below to add EBSCOhost to either of those devices.

Adding EBSCOhost Mobile icon to your iPhone or iPod home screen

You can add an icon to your iPhone or iPod that allows you to access EBSCOhost Mobile directly from your device's home screen.

To add an EBSCOhost Mobile icon:
1. On your device, go to the EBSCOhost Mobile login screen at: http://search.ebscohost.mobi/

2. Click the + button on your browser toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

3. On the resulting options menu, select Add to Home Screen.

4. On the Add to Home screen, type in a name for your icon and click Add.

5. The EBSCOhost Mobile icon appears on your home screen.
The following smartphones will work with this feature:
- Android
- Blackberry
- DellAxim
- iPhone
- Palm750

Please note that javascript must be enabled in order to use EBSCOhost.

Iowa AEA online username and passwords will be required to login and use the resource.

The following features are available in EBSCOhost Mobile:
• Basic Searching
• HTML and PDF Full Text
• Search Modes
• E-mailing articles
• Multi-database Searching

It is also possible to e-mail articles from both the EBSCOhost Mobile result list and article details screens.
