Transition assessments (178917) is an item that many of the GWAEA consultants recommend. The kit was put together with a variety of assessments. They include the following.
- Career Exploration Inventory EZ: This is a shorter version of the Career Exploration Inventory, 3rd edition, which helps individuals explore three areas of life-work, leisure activities, and learning.
- Character Development Scale: This is an inventory designed to measure a student's commitment to the six pillars of character.
- Picture Interest Career Survey: In this test, people identify occupational interests using pictures of people at work rather than text-based items.
- Transition-to-Work Inventory: This test assesses levels of interest in a wide variety of non-work activities. Scores connect to 14 major career interest areas, based on the Guide for Occupational Exploration.
- Interest Determination, Exploration and Assessment System (IDEA): Provides a means of helping students when a quick, immediate overview of their interests is desired.
- Transition Behavior Scale, 2nd edition (TBS-2): This test measures students' behavior in the areas of work related, interpersonal relations, and social/community expectations.
- Transition Planning Inventory, updated version: This is an instrument for identifying and planning for the comprehensive transitional needs of students.
This item checks out for a period of 10 days and can be extended for another 10 days.
