Iowa Occupational Therapy Association. The professional association serving Iowa occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, OT/OTA students and the public to advance occupational therapy education, practice and research in Iowa.

APTA.  American Physical Therapy Association.  The national and professional association for physical therapists.

Center for Disabilities and Development at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Offers of variety of medical and support services to individuals in disabilities.

National Down Syndrome Society. NDSS was established to increase public awareness, assist families, and sponsor scientific research.

Iowa Program for Assistive Technology. IPAT's goal is to make assistive technology more affordable and accessible to persons with disabilities throughout the state of Iowa .

MOVE International. Dedicated to helping children and adults with severe disabilities to sit, stand and walk. Instruction and adaptive equipment that enhances independent mobility.

WebMD. Search the medical literature using PubMed, from the National Library of Medicine.

Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). USA voluntary health agency working to defeat neuromuscular diseases through worldwide research, comprehensive services, and public health education.

New Visions. Continuing education and therapy services to professionals and parents working with infants and children with feeding, swallowing, oral-motor, and pre-speech problems. Suzanne Evans Morris, Ph.D, established new Visions in 1985.

Spina Bifida Association of America

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). Leading source of information on cerebral palsy and advocate for the rights of persons with any disability.
