The Autism Resource Team, under the direction of the Autism Services Program, provides services and coordinates education, medical, and other services for persons with autism and their families.
The Regional Autism Services Program, through the Child Health Specialty Clinic, has developed the regional autism resource teams in a cooperative effort with the Bureau of Children, Family and Community Services, Iowa Department of Education, and the Child Psychiatry Services at University of Iowa Health Care.
Services provided by the Autism Resource Team include:

Autism/PDD printed information for professional and families

Presentations/inservices for professional, community, and family groups

Liaison with families, local schools, University of Iowa Health Center, AEAs, and the Autism Society of Iowa
