Iowa's Job Bank Most of the jobs listed
on Iowa's Job Bank are full time listing and the majority are
in the private sector. The job openings come from all over the
state and represent all types of work, from professional and technical
to blue collar, from management to clerical and sales.
State of Iowa Job Vacancies Current
openings, grouped by occupational categories, are listed with
descriptions of title, location, salary range, and duties. Applicants
with a current application on file can apply online.
NationJob is an on-line
job search service with thousands of current job listings and
company profiles. The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area Chambers
of Commerce have joined this service and post local openings at
this site. The search allows you to select a geographic location.
In addition, they host an e-mail service called P.J. Scout which will e-mail you your job
prospects from criteria you input. All you have to do is sign
up, the service is free.
